June 2003, Star Wars Galaxies (SWG), produced by Sony Online Entertainment (SOE), and developed by LucasArts, began it's toll on gamers as the highest played Massive Multi-Player Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) on earth. SWG takes place during the time of the Galactic Civil War between the Imperials and the Rebels. Factions were created in SWG for both sides to take part in the Galactic Civil War. In July of 2003 a Rebel guild was born on the galaxy Bria, the leader was Arjes Aecoma, and that guild was The Insurrection.

The Insurrection started with a simple objective: making the game fun without cluttering the guild with overextended players. With everyone paying-it-forward, all members were satisfied and stayed with the guild. Early 2004, The Insurrection took part in its first ever raid, all members were present, to include 100+ members from eight other guilds. The turn out was tremendous, victory was at our finger tips. With many horrible character builds the guild had found their perfect PvP build and PvE grouping builds and each member had a role and task. Mid 2004, The Insurrection erected the player city Lagobah, and allied with True Fellowship. With SOE's several updates and patches, The Insurrection disband because of SWG taking a huge decrease in numbers. Though True Fellowship still stands on SWG, the game, users, and its developers changed, and the majority of the guild left. By 2009 SOE completely decommissioned thirteen of their 24 servers, realizing that SWG no longer has potential and has lost its fan-base.

In search for a decent MMORPG the guild came upon a game by the name of World of Warcraft (WoW), created and produced by Blizzard Entertainment, released November 2004, brought the resurrection of The Insurrection June 2004.

Guild Wars (GW),
created by ArenaNet, and produced by NCSoft. GW is different and its game type has been defined as a Competitive/Cooperative Online Role-Playing Game (CORPG). Eight months from GW's release in April of 2005, The Insurrection kept hidden and only in spirit did it exist. Many attempts were made to find a new guild to contribute to the community, but it brought only disappointment. The Insurrection of GW was founded on January 2006, by Saiule Sarin. As an enthusiastic player, he found that the many Guilds out and about were simply trying to boost their own egos. The legacy continued and began again as, The Insurrection was helping anyone and everyone in need (not just Guild members), which resulted the guild into growing again. By the release of GW Factions in April 2006, The Insurrection doubled in numbers and joined forces with Luxon. December 2006, Saiule Sarin successfully instituted, The Insurrection Oath, membersergeant at arms, apprenticeship and officer application process, to ensure The Insurrection's continued success. But only failed, a drought had occurred during the three months following the new year of 2007, where contact was minimal and recruiting was null and void.

January 2009, Saiule implements the standing rank structure to pass in all game genres. Although various games sprout and The Insurrection finds none worthy of extended play, there is one exception. 2010, Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV), previously codenamed Rapture, produced and developed by Square Enix and by the makers of Final Fantasy XI (FFXI). Touts a game without levels and a seamless "armory system."
